epic® USP <800> Compliant Barrier Gowns (Small/Medium) provide dependable protection for hazardous drug handling, critical clean environments, and applications where liquid splash is a concern. Constructed from a multilayer polyethylene and polypropylene fabric, the gown provides a tested hazardous drug barrier, while proprietary taped seams deliver liquid-proof protection throughout the garment. Both the fabric and seams have undergone ASTM D6978 chemotherapy drug permeation testing for enhanced protection during hazardous drug handling. Tunnelized elastic wrists with thumb loops help maintain secure coverage, while a hook-and-loop neck closure and extra-long coated waist ties provide an adjustable fit. Suitable for ISO Class 5 cleanrooms, the gown also passes ASTM F1671 testing for resistance to bloodborne pathogen penetration.
